Oracle qualifications question from beginner

I've just started a beginners course in Oracle, mainly to get some experience of SQL, but I'm also considering taking it further and gaining a qualification in Oracle.

My question is, what are the main widely recognised qualifications that you can gain in Oracle, and which are the ones most useful to a programmer (and particularly one with experience in VB/Access/Crystal Reports)?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
