Hi Ronald,

    You don't mention using Oracle Network Manager to set up your configuration files (tnsnames.ora, sqlnet.ora), and moving them to the \orawin\network\admin directory. Also, do you have a listener process set up on the server? It will also need configuration files generated by Oracle Network Manager (or by hand).
