Re: Upgrading from V6 to V7

I work for Oracle Support and I cannot imagine anyone in support telling a client something as far fetched as that. I am sure Randy Baker, Sr. VP of World Wide Support Oracle Corp would also be very surprised at hearing something like this and would like to personally address this issue. To answer the question about how complicated it is to install Oralce 7, if you can read and have a minor knowledge of software installation you can install Oracle 7. The docs are very comprehensive and if you have a registered copy you also have support for a limited time, don't know what the time frame is it is dependent on platforsm, and any problems you run into while installing or converting your Oracle 6 database you can call 415.506.1500.
