Well, first problem is that Oracle only offer Oracle v6.0.37 on Alpha AXP as a porting tool (i.e. not supported for production databases) and will only support that until approximately August 1994. Therefore you will need to have an Oracle7 production database and change all of your Forms2.3 applications to Forms3 applications (this involves some manual work!).
Oracle7 v7.0.15.4 is production on Alpha AXP (available on CD not TK70 or 9 track tape etc), but the Parallel Server option, Sql*Net v2
(DECnet & TCP/IP), CDE Tools are still beta and probably will not go production on Alpha AXP until Oracle7.1.
One word of warning, Oracle7 v7.0.15.4 is only supported on OpenVMS AXP v1.5, not the forthcoming v2 (as of yet!) and a patch
(CSCPAT_1084) must be obtained from Digital for OpenVMS AXP v1.5 before Oracle7 will run as it was meant too.
