Oracle Reports 2

To the Reports2 gurus in Cyberspace

Greetings !

I am investigating graphical reports using the Oracle CDE tools: Reports 2, Forms 4, and Graphics. We plan to convert an existing application with many reports to the graphical environment so that 'lotus aware' users feel comfortable.

At this stage I would appreciate your comments on bugs, problems and experiences (positive, and negative). In particular:

        Are there any Oracle V6 CDE tools users out there ?
        How have you found the 'advanced features ' of Oracle Reports 2 ?
        What problems have you yet to see addressed in maintenance releases ?

Recently I have observed :

        One master-detail report with many sibling detail queries could not be pursuaded to allign correctly. Adjacent columns on the printed page advanced down the page at different rates. The report is roughly

I have made all frames identical size, used allign-top to grid to ensure all layout elements are alligned on the grid, and fixed vertical and horizontal sizes to prevent text wrap. Figures in the different details columns still occupy different amounts
(constant font size, varying white space ).

Unfortunately I have been unable to duplicate these symptoms with scott/tiger tables.

Suggestions welcome.
