Oracle on Alpha?

Hi,
We're upgrading from an 8530 (clustered) to an alpha and I want to
port our VMS/Oracle6/Forms 2.3 applications across. There isn't any
need to cluster the alpha.
Has anybody *ANY* advice they could give me, as I'm Alpha
illiterate. I'm looking for the pitfalls of an upgrade but also any
advantages of which I might be unaware (all of this applies to both
hardware and software).
