Oracle offers a full set of products on MVS including the Oracle7 server, currently at release 7.1.6.

Oracle also offers the Oracle Client Solution for MVS which includes:

  1. SQL*Net for TCP/IP or LU6.2
  2. SQL*Loader
  3. SQL*Plus
  4. A pre-compiler (Pro*COBOL, or Pro*C, etc.)
  5. Access Manager for IMS/TM or CICS

Both Access Managers support the transaction manager as a full transaction coordinator. This means that we support two phase commit with anything else that supports the TM as a transaction coordinator.

With the exception of IMS/TM these products have been production since around 1986. IMS/TM support just went beta.
