This sounds also strange to me. The error looks like Case is trying to
display on the unix server (libXaw.so is a shared X library on unix)
so may be not all environment variables are set correctly. I'm thinking
especially on the $DISPLAY variable.
I'd try to open a xterm on the mac and then try to start xclock.
