I'd heard rumors there was somebody out there who liked Oracle*Card but wasn't employed by Oracle. Nice to meet you Frederic :)

Frederic - Oracle basically took Oracle*Card 2.0 (the new version) and renamed it to Oracle Media Objects - Enterprise Version (OMO-EV). It's supposed to be fully backward compatable with Card applications. But there are several other options such as Visual Basic which, as opposed to OMO-EV, seem to have a real future. OMO's future is multimedia support, which you don't appear to need for now. Of course if you go with VB the main difference is that your leash will be pulled by Microsoft rather than by Oracle.
