with proper standards, this becomes a very nice and efficient way to develop -- if you adopt the philosophy to create separate packages for data access, application logic, and presentation (HTML), then you've got a very maintainable app with high re-use

[Quoted] i've got a reasonably helpful presentation on this approach at http://www.enquery.com/papers/WTKprimer.zip

| The htp/htf is pretty simple. Gets even easier, especially if you come
| from the HTML side, when you use PLSQL Server Pages (PSP).
|
| Two examples
| http://www.oracle-base.com/Articles/9i/PLSQLServerPages9i.asp and
|
http://otn.oracle.com/sample_code/products/text/htdocs/text_search_psp.html
|
| (You write the PSP 'sample page', load it into the database using
| loadpsp (which basically turns it into htp/htf page) and access it thru
| OHS/mod_plsql. )
