One calculation recently shown to me ... Assuming 200 users, 2 reboots per week (for a variety of reasons), 15 minutes to reboot, and $20/hour per person ...

  • 200 people * $20/person/hour * ( 2 boot/week/server * .25 hour/boot ) * 52 week/year
  • $104000 / server / year

Is it valid in your situation????? YMMV
