use easysql _at_ http://getit.at/easysql pretty good tool to use for [Quoted] beginners, and intermediate. it's free.

also, toad, _at_ quest.com (i think it cost money for that one)

and advance query tools. (aqt). i don't know where to find that one. i think you have to look around for that one.
