Have a look at http://home.hccnet.nl/jj.den.boer

You can find an alternative tool for sqlplus on unix boxes. The version is 1.31 and has more features now. If you have terminals ( not graphical ) this can be a good alternative.
Currently available for HP-UX and Linux
