  1. Where, exactly, does Dr E F Codd make such a statement ?

(Many people have written books which allege to be "about Codd", or "about the Relational Model". But any examination by an undamaged, qualified human proves, in fact, by virtue of the content of such books, they have written about:

* data storage systems that are of their own delight, that are *not* defined by Codd (error of commission) (false attribution)
* their insanity, and they have attributed their insanity to Codd (false attribution)
* omitted two major constructs that are contained in the Relational Model (error of omission)

Thus such books (one third of the RM plus a mountain of non-RM) are perversions of the Relational Model. Such authors are (at best) imbeciles and (at worst) frauds.

Very little *honest* or *accurate* information has been written about the Relational Model.)

I trust you are not following the imbeciles, who attribute their insanity to Codd, that you are following Codd's actual writing. If you are making statements about Codd, either one way or the other, you better be able to support them with facts.

2. There is no "problem in database design". Any and all "problems" are completely resolved by formal education on the subject.

(Real education, not the rubbish in books by imbeciles and frauds, which by the nature of their demonstrated mental condition, are committed to confusion and the non-resolution of "problems". Real education, not the type of "discussion" that pseudo-educators who participate in this forum have recently demonstrated, again with the same commitments and mental condition.)

Evidently, you do not have such education, given that you perceive "problems in database design".

I am not seeking discussion about it, I am only pointing out that there exists, outside your universe, people who do not have such "problems". All people are not encumbered by the things that encumber you.

And please do not ask, for reasons already stated, I will not be providing that formal education here.
