What I don't understand is what malady displays the symptoms you think you see. If you're going to throw the term 'updateable views' at a db group, I suspect most of them would fail to understand why two tiers are material, let alone topological sorts. If you're going to usurp a long-standing term to stand for something else, I think you ought to justify why. Could it all be just a typo' and you really meant to send to some group other than c.d.t?
