I had them installed on the same W2K box working quite happily. (If you use iFS there can be version issues, but I do not think this is a "one box" issue.)

I then realised that I did not actually need the database installed separately, so I now just use the DB which is part of the AS installation. This means much better use of memory and CPU resources and is quite permitted according to the terms of my license agreement.
