Is there a best approach in oracle for a warm standby database to be used for disaster recovery? Size=small. Version=8i for Windoze 2k. Decent Network Connectivity between production system and the DR site (t3).

They would (of course) love real time recovery but would be happy with 5 minute type data loss as well (ie. log shipping is viable).

Ive been investigating use of replication etc... is there a nice, simple,
way to do this??? where can i find some docs on the subject.

Thanks
Ed
