Sorry if my point was not clear. I only meant to say that we don't have that many Oracle Forms applications that we require the iAS overkill infrastructure.
Seems that asking for a lighter version would not be asking for too much :)

No - we do not have any of the types of apps you mentioned running in Oracle Forms.
Like I said, we only have a limited number of Oracle Forms apps . We mainly use the iAS for PlSql apps which run without a problem using the iAS without the infrastructure (and are secure).
We use the Oracle database a lot in our company. But, other Oracle products (like Forms) are a lot less popular .
