So that means the shipping clerk can print a copy of the
salary report; which should only be run by the HR manager.
It means that the order entry clerk can enter data
into the Accounts Payable screen to get a "bonus"
check deposited into his bank account.
You are absolutely right that application SECURITY is
just a nuiscance and is NOT needed when run on a "secure"
intranet. Just let everyone log into the database as
the application's schema owner. It certialy simplifies
the programing.
