Subdaemon Error Pls Help

Hi,
We have TimesTen4.1 installed on our Company's HP-UX 11
When i try to connect to the data store, i get following error -- 703: Subdaemon connect to data store failed with error TT9999
i tried to do following to resolve the problem
- stop the daemon manually, # /sbin/init.d/timestend32.41 stop
- start the daemon manually, # /sbin/init.d/timestend64.41 start
- stop the Server manually, # install_dir/server/ttserver4.1_32bit stop
- start the Server manually, # install_dir/server/ttserver4.1_32bit start
after trying all of this , the problem still persists..
Please suggest some solution asap.
