Hi

Our company has developed an OLE control for making life easier when using ODBC direct. The control is similar in concept to RDO but is faster, lighter  and will be available in 16 and 32 bit versions and you won't have to buy anything else just to get your hands on it. It also gives you some things that RDO doesn't, like optional connection management and an easier, consistent way of implementing parameterised statements (for stored procedures, parameterised inserts/updates etc.).

We welcome any comments / suggestions you care to offer. If there's any features you think should be in the control, let us know or email me and I'll add you to our beta program.

The beta version is available for evaluation on http://www.factotum.com.au (look for 'Db/Ole' or the 'Products' page). There is also some overview documentation available on the same page.

Thanks
