We have had quite a successful implementation of Oracle 7.1 on NT Server, for a fairly complex application running a multi-gigabyte database.

It must be pointed out that in general Oracle was rather slow to support it's products on NT, but perhaps there is a recent change in it's policy as also posted on the Internet, where now they have expressed a commitment towards 'almost' same time release of products on NT.

By itself, NT in it's 3.51 flavor, is quite robust, and with the changed attitide of Oracle Corp, Oracle on NT should be a great alternative, especially in environments where the selection is based on careful evaluation of 'Performance-per-unit-price'.
