OLE Automation Error w/ ORADC.VBX

I have just set up Personal Oracle 7.1 and have it running fine as far as access via ODBC goes. When I try to use the Oracle Data Control or even try to run the sample apps that came with the Oracle package I get the following error upon the Refresh event:

OLE Automation Error:unable to make connection, ORA-03121:no interface driver connected - function not performed.

The Oracle server is running and I can access the tables via ODBC. I can also access the tables thru the Oracle utilities, just not using the ORADC.VBX. I have also recently installed the Access Jet Engine 2.5 from the Access Service Pack and wonder if the new OLE dll's aren't compatible with Oracle's control. Do I need to manually change anything in the OLE registry? I'm probably going to switch back to the old dll's for testing, but if anyone can offer insight on this I would be greatly appreciative.
