Sounds like you have made your decision. For others though, try looking at DB2 for workstations version 2.1 (AIX, OS/2, HP, Solaris, NT).
Its BLOB support is *far* better than any other RDBMS vendor. You don't even have to take the word of someone who works for IBM: compare the features yourself.
