I would have to agree - between all the financials products, AOL, and AutoInstall there is definitely a large user base on the net. A separate group for Applications (again, since I think there may have been confusion -- this is the Financials package and not just any applications that connect to/use the Oracle RDBMS) would also make it easier for me to try and convince people in Applications Support to monitor the group. Just my two cents...
