You are better off with your existing comparison if you want to use any of Sybase's add-on servers in your production environment.
The add-on servers all use SQL language variants that are limited to 4.x feature compatibility.
If you must have System 10 features in your environment, you'll end up with a stand-alone system, ie no Omni-SQL for transparent access to multiple db backends, and I believe no Replication services either.
