   Re: the Lanman2 TCP/IP stack: Run Away! Run Away!

   We became so frustrated with this stack (Unable to Allocate DOS memory for all DOS sockets...sound familiar?) that we are switching to alternatives as fast as we can. In a WFWG environment, I would suggest you take a look at the latest Beta of the 32 bit TCP/IP stack available from Microsoft's Anon FTP server (make sure you get the latest, older versions have very poor performance). So far it is the fastest SQL*Net performer I have seen and reliability does not seem to be a problem (at least for use with SQL*Net). Good Luck!
