Our root filesystem in SCO Unix crashed, and we had to restore. That worked. Our database is on other drives from the root. However, out log file is out of synch with our control file. Is there a way to manually recreate this log file so that we can get our database up; even just to do an export. More info: When we try to sqldba startup we get the message ORA-00342 ERROR LOG FILE SAYS 45 SHOULD BE 75. We don't have copies of the control file on other drives, so as far as I know we are screwed. Is this true???? Received on Thu May 20 1993 - 04:39:55 CEST
