Hello HP netters,

   Problem time again......

Problem: a Oracle SQL embedded C program gets "fail to connect to database"

(code 3114) error while running under Softbench Debugger.

Notes: 1) same compiled version runs fine under Unix prompt (connects to
	    	database and copys data)
	    2) same program run under Xdb runs fine as well.
	    3) all the necessary Oracle variables are set inside the
	        Softdebug (we checked)
	    4) running on HP-UX 9.01, SoftBench 3.0(B.00.01) & Oracle 6.0.36

Has anybody experience the same thing or anything similar?

thanks in advance,
angela
