Hi,
I am cross-posting this message to all database groups. Thanks for your help!
I am evaluating the database package, PROGRESS to be specific, for a friend's shop. I do a lot of experience with ORACLE, but no experience at all with PROGRESS. Any pros or cons of PROGRESS will be highly appreciated:
- functionality
- portability, i.e. to what extent it meets SQL standard
- client/server architecture
- interface
- supported Language
- how easy it is to use: from both end-user and deveopler's point of views.
Once again, thank you for your help!
