SQL*Net performance tuning for TCP/IP...

Hi am searching ways to improve SQL*Net performances (global throughput) on a wide area network using TCP/IP. Does anyone have info. on either new versions, replacement products or specific parameters config ?? ...

Any information would be welcome.
