POSITION TITLE:
Associate Systems Analyst/Systems Analyst
LOCATION:
Wilmington, DE
JUSTIFICATION:
Needed to design, develop and implement novel informatics tools for
use by Discovery Researchers.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of
applications that support Discovery Informatics knowledge-base
development and data-mining. Emphasis on rapid application
development and prototyping is required to solve evolving business
requirements.
EXPERIENCE:
BS, MS, or equivalent in Chemistry, Pharmacology, Computer Science or
related fields, with 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
Demonstrable informatics accomplishments are required. A
pharmaceutical research background and experience with several of the
following are highly desirable: CGI scripts, Unix shell scripts,
C/C++, ORACLE database development, and chemical structure databases
from Daylight and MDL.
