Personally I wouldn't put over 100 connections to an NT server. Call me biased, but I would be more comfortable with Unix. Any version. Even then [Quoted] I would think about 4 processors. If you need 6 or 8 processors, Unix is the only way to go.

It really depends on your application. You would have to know more than the [Quoted] total number of users. Do you have batch processing requirements? How much [Quoted] disk will your application need?
