Re: Multiple tnsnames.ora?

Hi Amy,
you can have multible addresses defined for each TNS name entry. Most ppl. used this to get around the upgrade to NET8. You can use it for your purpose two - define both the internal and external address for each name, and it should be alright.

However, SQL*Net 2.3 did have problems with proxy networks so be careful. Not sure if that problem still exists with Net8.
