Hi Amy,
you can have multible addresses defined for each TNS name entry. Most ppl.
used this to get around the upgrade to NET8. You can use it for your purpose
two - define both the internal and external address for each name, and it
should be alright.
However, SQL*Net 2.3 did have problems with proxy networks so be careful. Not sure if that problem still exists with Net8.
