I'm not sure off the top of my head what version of the installer comes with 8.0.5 client but all installer versions lower than 3.3.1.1.0c are non y2k compliant.

You may need to get a patch disk from Oracle, install the Installer from that CD to your local machine and use that one to install your other products.
