Difference between screen and preview in Rep 3.0

I have a complex report that looks great with DESTYPE=screen and dflt DESNAME, but the fonts are too small when I use DESTYPE=preview to preview using printer fonts. If I print after using DESTYPE=screen, the fonts are the right size, but are not wrapped correctly on the right side of the page (we are using A4 paper). Any idea on how to get the printer fonts to line up more closely with the screen, and layout editor's fonts?

The printer is a HP-LJ4P, or a HP-Color LaserJet. Same effect on both, no change using hpl instead of dflt. I had to crop the width in those printer definition files to 60 from 80 to get the wrapped text to print correctly.

Thanks
