Has anyone ever run reports directly from the database?

Can reports that are stored in the database be run without converting them to a rdf file first?

We need to run the very same 2.5 reports from both some WinNT Forms 5 clients, and the Unix command prompt. One can store Oracle Reports 2.5 report definitions in the database, which is accessible both from the WinNT clients and the Unix machine. That would be perfect!

As for the Unix prompt: I cannot find any option for r25run to tell it to search in the database. And in Forms 5, even when using Run_Product( ..., DATABASE, ...), it simply fails stating that the file can not be found...

Any hint appreciated!
