Re: CG_REF_CODES follow-up question

And furthermore the designer generates a check-constraint that insures that the static data is enforced, not that the dynamic data is enforced.

I imagine that a combination where check is only done at form-level (client-side) and having a "Soft LOV" should prove valid, but I'd like some respons on wether this is the right direction.
