Migration Forms 3.0/ReportWriter 1.1 to Designer 2000

Hello,

[Quoted] I need information on migration and support issues of Designer 2000.

Situation:
- Application is running on a Oracle 7.0 database with Oracle forms 3.0
and Report Writer 1.1
- The upgraded application will be developed in Designer 2000 in Forms
4.5 and Reports 2.5

Probleem:
What is the best strategy to migrate from Form 3.0 and Report Writer 1.1 to Designer 2000.

The strategy I think off is:

Forms
- upgrade the Forms 3.0 modules to Forms 4.5

• reverse engeneer the Forms 4.5 modules in Designer 2000

Reports
- upgrade the Report Writer 1.1 modules to Reports 2.5

• reverse engeneer the Reports 2.5 modules in Designer 2000

Is this a good strategy ?
What problems do you encounter ?
Are there any conversion tools ?
