Calling Report from Forms 4.5 and capturing errors

I am executing an Oracle Report from Oracle Forms via the RUN_PRODUCT built-in with execmode = BATCH. If there are errors in the report, I don't get any feedback to the form. Any ideas on how I capture the error message to let the operator know that the report did not execute properly.
