Thomas (Tom) Kyte (1965 -) is a Vice President at Oracle Corporation, and is the Tom behind the popular asktom website, in which he answers questions from Oracle Developers and DBAs. Tom is also an Oracle ACE, a featured speaker at Oracle conferences around the world and is well respected in the Oracle community.
Tom has been working with the Oracle Database product since 1987 (Oracle 5.1.5c) and working with Oracle Corporation since 1993 (Oracle 7).
He currently lives in Round Hill, Virginia, United States with his children Megan and Alan (with a guinea pig and fish called Patches and Tim).
