Sounds like alot of trouble. I just want to experiment with using the database, not do compatibility
test. If I had to install a newer version of glibc, I would do it. Installing an older glibc might affect some other part of the RH7.1 system.
I think I will just reinstall RH6.2 on my server. Thanks for your offer anyway.
