Greetings,
I know nothing of Oracle. I made a couple other posts asking questions regarding system specs and the comparison between versions, but this post is for reference material.
I've heard great things about the 'Oracle 8i DBA Handbook' as a reference, but I'm curious...if I want to teach myself Oracle, through books and electronic/web-based tutorials, where should I start? What books are best and/or what websites would be helpful?
Even better, if anyone can suggest a schooling possibility (in the Toronto area) that offers classes part time (or perhaps during the day, but for short periods of time) on Oracle, that would be most useful.
