In terms of reliability you can invert the above list and if using third party controls delete Access for serious business use. C programs IPF due to your mistakes, VB programs IPF due to other peoples mistakes and there are lots of other people making those mistakes.

I always wonder if the MSoft version number of its Office suite is the number of known, admisable, failings (bugs to us) at the time of release.
