create instance from database files

I have Oracle 8.04 on WinNT 4.0.
How can I recover a database(created with 8.04) when I have the database
folder(datafiles, control files, online redo files and init.ora file).
I suppose that all I have to do is create the service.I tried using ORADIM80
but couldn't make it.
