yes, MS SQL Server 7.0 has full row level locking, which is a very competitive implementation imo.

It is also considerably easier to use than both MS SQL6.5 and Oracle8 (on NT) imho. I refer to the DBA, deployment and application development using MS tools like VB, VC, ADO, ODBC.
