Hello,
I've killed an active session from the database (ORACLE 7.2.3) because a
user was executing an abnormally large insert transaction. This same transaction seemed to have locks on a table and it's indexes. After the session was killed the database was rolling back this huge transaction, but the indexes and the table were still locked.
Is there any way I can force oracle to release the locks without waiting for the entire transaction to rollback.
Thanks in advance, -Eddie Received on Fri Jan 16 1998 - 00:00:00 CET
