One important feature that is often overlooked is versioning -
the ability to maintain different child schemas and merge them to main
trunk of the schema tree when necessary.
It is very important when you delivered a product but continue
development
of a new release.
Main trunk schema will be for development but one or more branches
for bug fixing of the one in production.
In short revision control system for database models.
Silverrun has them for long time.
ERWIN 2.6 introduced them as DataMart but for additional huge cost.
