*Application/Description of Work:
The application is a client/server-based issue tracking
system. The group needs a clear picture of their
requirements for adding flexible reporting to this system.
Responsibilities to include:
*Pulling together very high-level, conceptual requirements
from multiple sources.
*Interviewing key stakeholders to ensure the group has a
unified set of requirements.
*Analyzing available information sources to find out what's
supportable via existing data and what isn't (and what it
would take to get the missing pieces).
*Analyzing several off-the-shelf reporting tools such as
Business Objects and Crystal Reports for their
capability/suitability versus developing something
internally.

Any Other Helpful Info:
This group does not own the system (another group does), so
they must present their requirements to this other group
for assessment and/or they would explore the possibility
of extracting the data they need and build their own tool
to report off that. Contractor must be comfortable
soliciting/refining/analyzing requirements, be able to put
together a formal requirements and requirements analysis
document.
