IT'S TIME TO MOVE OUT OF THIS GROUP!!!! If you can't find the new groups, then it is high time to contact your usenet administrator. It appears that many administrators have quit creating new groups automatically even after an official vote. They only create the groups if so requested by their users...(that's you). I had to ask the administrators at both sites where I can access the usenet to create the new groups.

I am including below some text you can email to your newsgroup administrator. If you don't know where to send it, just try using the address: postmaster.

Please add the following newsgroups to the usenet system. The official newgroup control messages went out on October 10 and 17. The old group, comp.databases.oracle will be removed from most systems on Dec. 9, and I need to have access to the new groups. Thank you.

The new groups and their newsgroup lines are:

Comp.databases.oracle.misc         Oracle related topics.
Comp.databases.oracle.tools        Oracle software tools/applications.
Comp.databases.oracle.marketplace  Oracle-related jobs, etc.
Comp.databases.oracle.server
                         Oracle database administration/server topics.
